1. Description
3.7 oz. E fiberglass cloth is the most common cloth used to glass a surfboard. E-glass is easy to wet our with polyester or epoxy resin and laps around the rails easily. E-glass stands for "Electrical Grade" fiberglass as it was initially developed for electrical wire insulation but later was found to exhibit good reinforcement strength when coupled with a plastic resin.

The maximum temperature limit is 600°C
Offers continuous temperature resistance till 550° C
Excellent Insulation properties
The fiberglass fabric is strong, flexible and non-hazardous
It can be coated and/or aluminized
The Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass offers protection of up to 1000° C
Heat Treated Fiberglass offers ease of use and better stitching
The fiberglass cloth is also available in mesh form starting from 25 gsm up to 400 gsm
3. Fiberglass Cloth Application
E-glass (alkali-lime glass with high boron oxide content, used for example for glass staple fibers). Fiberglass cloth manufactured by us offers the best control over the thickness, weight, and strength of all forms of fiberglass textiles. This cloth includes properties like high tensile strength, dimensional stability, high heat resistance, fire resistance, good thermal conductivity, durability, etc.
